Welcome! Thank you for your partnership.
Why YOU matter
Your presence in your child’s academic journey is powerful. Research shows that when families are involved, students achieve more academically, behaviorally, and socially. It isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about showing up, staying informed, and reminding your child that they are seen, supported, and valued.
Studies consistently reveal that parental involvement is at the core of student success. Students whose parents actively engage with their education through check-ins, goal setting with educational partners, ensuring regular attendance, and encouraging their child:
Earn higher grades and test scores
Attend school more regularly
Demonstrate better social skills and behavior
Graduate and pursue postsecondary success
That’s why you’re here. This portal exists to honor your impact, deepen the home/school partnership, and give you tools to support your child’s success. Together, we can create the kind of future every student deserves.

About me| La Cheryl Lewis, MEd., MPA|EdD Candidate, Franklin University
Hi, I’m La Cheryl Lewis, and I’m so glad you’re here. Over the years, I’ve worked with learners of every age, from the littlest scholars finding their voices to adults progressing toward advanced degrees. That range has taught me one thing: the principles of success are the same at every level. With the right support, belief, and structure, every student can rise.
In my classroom, we don’t settle for mediocrity; we strive for excellence! I’m deeply intentional about creating spaces where students and parents are heard, valued, and involved. I’m not here just to teach; I’m here to transform! Every student who crosses my path will know they are capable, called, and equipped to accomplish amazing things.
What many don’t know is that my roots are also in business and entrepreneurship. I’ve always carried a mindset of winning, and not just for myself, but for others. Helping people discover their purpose, walk in excellence, and reach their version of success is part of who I am. Whether in the classroom, the community, or a boardroom, I believe in showing up with vision, strategy, and the belief that impact and positive outcomes are always possible.
Together, we can create spaces where students thrive, families are empowered, and communities are transformed.
Let's make it happen!
